G.W. Selling out the country again!

ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Tuesday that a deal for a state-owned Dubai company to manage major U.S. ports should go forward and will not jeopardize U.S. security.
Bush told reporters traveling back to Washington with him from Colorado that he would veto legislation to stop the deal from going through.
"After careful review by our government, I believe the transaction ought to go forward," Bush said. He added that if the U.S. Congress passed a law to stop the deal, "I'll deal with it with a veto."

-that was from Rueters and man, if that doesn't make you sick! All of this makes me wonder one thing, what the hell do those Arabs have on our President? It must be serious, but I am probably just underestimating the pure GREED of these republicans! Although, smart Republicans are voicing their opinions against this deal, I guess handing over Americas port security to a nation that was home to two of the 9/11 Hijackers is not a good idea to everyone, just the President and whoever else is getting an enormous kickback!

Why the Republicans in government SUCK!

Okay, to start, I have a confession. I voted for GW the first time just because I thought Gore was not a proper "representative" for our country. Now look at where we are! The whole initial cause for us to go to war was to get Osama, and as I post this he is happily breathing somewhere FIVE YEARS after conducting his 9/11 operation. Well, I know it can't be that easy so I will cut a break on that front. I won't even go into Iraq (though Bushie didn't have a prob with that). Katrina is my biggest pet peeve right now though. For the low cost of 300 million of your dollars, the government bought 11,000 mobile homes. Good idea right? Well, since Bush appointed all his buddies to key positions in FEMA, it is sooooo clogged up with bureacratic BULLSHIT that all the trailers are still sitting, unoccupied, in Arkansas! In a cow pasture no less, so that every time it rains, they sink a little bit more. Now these geniuses have ordered 44,000 jacks to prop them up instead of just releasing them to the evacuees living in hotels on yours and my dime! The bottom line is the only thing Republicans know how to do is get elected on LIES and once they are in, they don't have a damn clue about WTF is going on!

Why you shouldn't shop Wal-Mart

So I know everyone loves the prices at wal-mart but there are some extremely un-American things about how walmart does business. Originally, how supply and demand worked was a factory would make a product and then go to the stores and offer it for them to sell and tell them what price it was. Now walmart tells the factories what it wants and how much it will pay for it and sits the factory representatives down in a small room and make them bid right there at what they can sell the product for! Since most American companies pay people reasonable salaries and supply healthcare and benefits to its employees, they cannot even come close to what the Chinese representatives can sell for. The un-American part is that by buying these cheap chinese products, you are supporting "slave labor". The average pay for these people is about 21 cents an hour! -with no insurance, no union, no decent working conditions, and ARMED chinese military personell watching over them. On Frontline on PBS it shows 15 women sitting on cheap folding chairs, scrapping name brand jeans with sandpaper on their laps, and going to the bathroom in a hole in the ground, five feet away without as much as a curtain to block the view! So if you want yourself and your kids to work like that, and you want to support the communist chinese government who wont even allow free speech, freedom of religion, or any other important freedom, by all means, shop wal-mart! By the way, the trade deficit with China was 265 billion dollars last year (2005) and Wal-Mart posted profits of 235 billion, coincidence? Yeah right.

I am curious how you feel about the way the Right has directed our country into a lengthy and costly war who the only "winner" is haliburton who the VP was running before he got into office without getting Osama still.
